The WR 28th Home Guard “C” Company Social Committee proudly presents an afternoon of energetic dance ambition in order to raise funds for the Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice. So please come along and
“Dance Away the Winter Blues”
at our 1940s style traditional afternoon dance on Sunday, 20th November 2016 at the Oxenhope Community Centre,
2pm till 4.30pm.
Your DJ and MC for the event will be the Home Guard’s very own “Company B”. Come along and cut a rug to the dance styles of the day, to the music of the day and dress to impress if you wish – but this is not essential. In the true traditions of the war years you are positively encouraged to do-it-yourself by bringing your own food and alcoholic beverages. Tea and coffee will be available.
Tickets are available from Stuart or Angela Carlton on telephone 01535 644738 (or email carltons@homecall.co.uk).
Tickets cost £5 each.
The Oxenhope Community Centre is located off the junction of Hebden Bridge Road and Shaw Lane. Follow the driveway down to the ample car park. If you own one of those navigation devices that were not available in the 1940s you should key-in BD22 9LH and your device should get you there!

Admission will be by ticket only because numbers are restricted to 90 people.
